Mr. James Caccia - Company Founder
since 1979
Mr. James Caccia, the son of a coal miner-turned-plumber, was born and raised in San Francisco. After years of working for the City of San Francisco, he decided it was time to fulfill his dream of having his own business. Equipped with several years of plumbing experience he gained by working with his father, he started James Caccia Plumbing and began fixing plumbing problems for homeowners in San Mateo County.
He quickly earned a reputation for providing excellent plumbing workmanship and was instantly liked for his good humor and no nonsense approach.
As his clientele and family grew, Mr. Caccia began hiring like-minded plumbers to help with his many projects.
When Mr. Caccia’s sons were growing up, he’d also teach them about work ethic and quality plumbing by taking them to work during the children’s school breaks.
His sons eventually joined the company as full-time employees and helped expand the company. Mr. Caccia’s daughter also joined the company to help run the office more efficiently, as the company began to thrive.
As his business grew, Mr. Caccia ensured that his values based on outstanding work ethic, diligence, honesty and quality work were ingrained in the company’s culture. And that is why his customers have remained loyal to this company to this day.
James Caccia passed away in August 2008. His children, Geno, Anthony & Juliana, continue his legacy and uphold his high standards in their daily operations of his company, their company.
