2. Flush Away Waste With Running Water
Another myth that homeowners often believe is that running water down your garbage disposal will help get all those clogs and old food out of the unit.

3. Soap and Water Will Do the Trick
We have been told as homeowners that soap and water will get everything clean. While this is generally true, it’s not when it comes to bathroom fixtures and faucets.
Soap and water will only cause the faucets to corrode and then peel, leaving your metal looking a total mess.
